What is Climate Change?

What is Climate Change? Where Can I Get More Information?

Everyone is talking about climate change!  What is it?  What kinds of projects can I do to address climate change in my community?  Where can I find funding for these types of projects?  Are their trainings available?

If you have asked yourself any of the above questions, we have the resource that may answer your questions. The Environmental Coordinator for the Georgetown Tribal Council has created this guide for you, in the hopes that it will help you in your search for information about climate change. If you are conducting research, need a few tools to help you with your project related to climate change, are seeking funding for your projects, looking for trainings, or want to peruse some guides developed for tribes…this is the place to look for those resources!
