Assistance Programs Update

We have added four new assistance programs for Georgetown Members. These programs are based on household assistance and not individual members. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our office at (907) 274-2195 or info@georgetowntc.com.

2022 Utility Assistance Program

The 2022 Utility Assistance Program is open until the end of the year. Members can be awarded a household limit of $500 per month for up to four months per year, maximum $2000. Fill out application and submit copies of your monthly utility bills for approval. Payment will be made to utility companies, but reimbursement can be issued for bills paid in January through April. The 2021 Utility Assistance Program is still available to member households that have not applied. Link to application.

Off Grid Assistance Program

The 2022 Off-grid Assistance Program is also open until the end of the year. This application is for those who do not qualify under the 2022 Utility Assistance Program. The maximum awarded amount is $2000 to be applied as credit to fuel supplies in the member’s account or reimbursed for purchased made. EXAMPLE: Those who live in remote areas without access to Utility companies.

The 2021 Off-grid Assistance Program is also available. Fill out application and submit your 2021 receipt(s) for up to $800 reimbursement.

Housing Assistance Program

Housing Assistance program applications are also available. Fill out the application and you can be awarded up to $600 on rental assistance or $600 on mortgage assistance to be paid to the landlord or mortgage company. Link to application.
