Tribal Member Liaison Temporary Position Through December 15, 2024
Responsibilities of the Tribal Member Liaison include but are not limited to:
● Assisting Tribal members on the available member services.
● Initiating and coordinating the clerical and secretarial functions required in effective implementation of the NVG Operations.
● Arranging, and taking minutes for the NVG Council Meetings.
● Coordinating the activities of and providing professional service to NVG Committees.
● Managing the content of the NVG website and publishing a quarterly newsletter.
● Updating and maintaining tribal enrollment, helping in the administration of any grants that directly affect members.
● Attending relevant workgroup meetings and taking notes, assisting with report writing and grant applications, when possible.
● Any other duties that need to be performed to act as a liaison to Georgetown members.
Skills required to be successful:
● Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
● Excellent communication and presentation skills
● Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
● Familiarity with office procedures
● Working knowledge of office devices and processes
● High level of knowledge in MS Office Suite
● Excellent communication skills
● Strong organizational skills
● High school diploma
This position is 40-hour week Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend responsibilities to attend Council meetings, as needed. Pay is dependent on experience. This position is currently not remote. Benefits include paid holidays off.
